We were able to set the project apart by the use of motion and simple treatments to make the images all seem ‘in-world’.

A classic tale.
A timeless style.
Protected by the mountains, Nyima has been able to preserve its freedoms and its people, but the growing might of the empire threatens to bring an end to it all. Near the beginning of this tale, the Queen of Nyima finds herself pregnant with her first child. By Nyimian tradition, the King and Queen ride out to meet a seer. The Seer tells the Queen that of the two children that she will bear, one of them will grow to become not only the hero of Nyima, but will also free all the other countries enslaved by the Empire. The King and Queen rejoice upon hearing the news, but nothing comes without its price. The prophecy will only come to be if the Queen gives her firstborn child to someone of common blood to be raised. And so it is, that upon the birth of her twins, the Queen gives her firstborn son to an unexpecting cobbler, and the tale of The Monastery begins. . . .
